What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a primary health care profession, specializing in the manual treatment of joint and muscle problems. The osteopath provides hands-on treatment using manual techniques to release tight muscles, stretch ligaments and joint capsules, and mobilise joints. Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment which emphasizes methods of recognizing and alleviating structural and mechanical problems of the body.

Shanan Sher, Osteopath
Shanan Sher is one of the senior osteopaths in Israel with over 30 years experience. He has done extensive post-graduate work treating adults and babies.
Shanan qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1993. He was one of the first osteopaths to work on the National Health Service in the UK. He has a first degree in Psychology from the University of London which he received in 1988.
He made Aliya in 1997 and is one of the founders of the Israel Center for Osteopathy. One of the oldest osteopathic centers in Israel. Today the center has two major clinics, in the Ramat Aviv Medical Center and the Jerusalem Medical Center
In the Israeli Osteopathic Association he has held numerous post including residing as the president for 4 years.
